Important News and Updates
Anyone interest in participating with the development of an Honor Guard for the Seymour area is encouraged to contact American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Commander Bob Anderson for details.
No experience is needed, all training will be provided and this program is open to veterans from all branches of service and to those that never served but would like to support our veterans programs.
The Honor Guard routinely assists organizations with Posting of the National Flag (complete with rifle volleys if appropriate), bearing the Colors during parades in Seymour or other special ceremonies.
While past experience with Honor Guards and marching bands is preferred it is not a requirement. For more information contact Bob via email at bob@backtobasicsamerica.com or cell phone 281-543-4524. The first training will be held in July.
